About Pelter Winery

Pelter Winery was founded in 2001 by brothers Tal and Nir Pelter, who set out to bring a fresh perspective to Israeli wine. Tal had studied viticulture and oenology in Australia and was drawn to the Australian approach, and the winery was built around a simple idea taken from it: exceptional quality at accessible prices. That philosophy still drives Pelter today.

The Wines

Pelter draws fruit from carefully chosen vineyards across Israel’s wine regions. The Australian influence shows in a focus on technical precision and clear, fruit-forward character, applied consistently across the range, with the team refining vineyard and cellar work vintage by vintage.
