Neve Yarak Winery was founded in 2015 by Momo Shmilovitz in Moshav Neve Yarak. The winery draws on more than sixty years of agricultural history in the settlement. The Shmilovitz family has farmed here for three generations. Consequently, a deep-rooted connection to the land shapes every decision at the winery. The moshav sits in the Yarkon region, where Hamra soil creates exceptional growing conditions. This characteristic reddish, sandy soil retains rainwater and transfers valuable minerals to the vines. Furthermore, the winery practices Baal agriculture, a traditional dryland farming method relying entirely on seasonal rainfall.

Neve Yarak Winery focuses on three grape varieties: Carignan, Grenache, and Syrah. These Mediterranean varieties are well adapted to warm, dry summers and benefit from the Hamra soil.
