About Rosa Winery

Rosa Winery is a natural winemaking project founded in 2012 by two friends, Yohai Sagi and Eyal Wigdarzon, who began making wine in their shared apartment in Jerusalem’s Nachalat neighbourhood. The project moved through several locations before settling in Kfar Menachem. Here natural winemaking is a philosophy rather than a trend: Yohai and Eyal work with minimal intervention at every stage, so their wines are shaped by the grapes and the conditions of each harvest rather than by additives or manipulation in the cellar.

The Wines

Rosa makes a remarkably diverse range, including red, white, rose, orange, sparkling and other styles in limited editions. The grapes come from vineyards across Israel’s different growing regions, so each wine reflects the character of its origin and variety. The wines change from vintage to vintage in style and expression, yet all share the same commitment to honest fruit and light-handed winemaking, and the winery’s readiness to explore unconventional styles means each release brings something new to discover.

Visiting the Winery

Rosa is based in Kfar Menachem in central Israel, where visitors can taste and see what natural winemaking looks like at its most personal. For anyone drawn to Israel’s natural wine movement, it is an essential stop to understand firsthand what minimal intervention can reveal in the glass.
