Soreq Winery was established in 1994 by the Shaham family, making it one of Israel’s pioneering boutique wineries. The winery is located in the heart of the Sorek Valley, which stretches between the Jerusalem Mountains to the east and the Judean plains to the west. This picturesque valley is surrounded by forests, rolling hills, and ancient archaeological sites that date back 3,000 years. Furthermore, the area was once a renowned winemaking region in antiquity, and Soreq Winery is proud to be part of its modern revival.

The terroir of the Sorek Valley gives the wines their distinctive identity. The valley’s unique position between the mountains and the plains creates a natural microclimate that supports viticulture of considerable quality. Wines and Vineyards

Soreq Winery sources grapes from selected vineyards in four different growing regions across Israel.
