About Sphera Winery

Sphera is a boutique Israeli winery built around a deep commitment to white wine. Founder Doron Rav-Hon spent years training in France, learning white winemaking in Burgundy at the renowned Domaine Jacques Prieur and going on to study sparkling-wine production in Champagne, one of the most rigorous French winemaking educations of any Israeli winemaker. Sima Rav-Hon oversees the winery’s activities and the development of the brand, and together they have built a producer with a clear, coherent identity.

The Wines

Sphera works chiefly in white and sparkling wine, a rare specialisation in Israel. The experience Doron gained in Burgundy and Champagne shapes the approach directly, and the wines show the precision and clarity of fine French whites, with the surrounding Israeli landscape felt in every bottle.
