About Vitkin Winery

Vitkin is a pioneering boutique winery in Kfar Vitkin, on Israel’s central Mediterranean coast, with a strong reputation for exploring unusual grape varieties and unconventional blends. Its philosophy is built on curiosity: seeking out forgotten and lesser-known varietals and giving them a real chance to express themselves in Israeli conditions. Vitkin is especially known for its work with Mediterranean varieties that most local producers overlook, though this is never experimentation for its own sake, as each variety is chosen because the winery believes it can deliver something genuine from Israeli terroir.

The Wines

The range includes Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marselan and a number of other lesser-planted grapes, along with blends that combine them in ways rarely attempted elsewhere in Israel, so wine lovers can find bottles here that simply do not exist at other producers. Alongside the experimental range, Vitkin also makes more accessible wines that have introduced a wide audience to its approach, and it keeps researching new varieties each season, so the line-up evolves and rewards revisiting year after year.
