Zauberman Winery is a boutique winery in Gedera, in the southern Shfela (Judean plain), founded in 1999. It is the joint venture of three partners who share a love of travel, food and wine: Itzik Zauberman, a businessman and wine enthusiast; Raz Dahan, an architect; and Sharon Nahum, an entrepreneur from a family with a vineyard background.

The winery’s grapes are grown in the Kfar Ahim area of the Judean plain, and the partners are hands-on at every stage — hand-harvesting the fruit and personally building the winery facility. Production is deliberately small, ranging from around 1,000 to 8,000 bottles, with an uncompromising emphasis on quality over quantity.

A distinctive feature of Zauberman is its adaptation of the ancient amphora (clay vessel) winemaking method to local conditions, alongside a philosophy that treats winemaking with care, positive energy and a genuine family atmosphere.
