Business Description

About Jerusalem Winery

Jerusalem Winery is a family winery with deep ties to the city, run by the Guetta family, whose roots in Israeli winemaking go back more than 150 years. Based in Moshav Bnei Ram on the edge of Jerusalem, it pairs that long legacy with modern production. The family’s winemaking predates the modern state, and their link to Jerusalem as a centre of wine culture gives the winery a distinct historical character; its visitor centre stands at the landmark Montefiore Windmill in the Mishkenot Sha’ananim neighbourhood.

The Wines

The range spans reds, whites and roses made from quality fruit sourced from established Israeli regions. Recent investment in production and quality control has brought recognition at competitions in Israel and abroad, and the team blends long family experience with modern equipment, expanding the winery’s wine-tourism side along the way.

Visiting the Winery

The Mishkenot Sha’ananim visitor centre offers tastings in the heart of Jerusalem, with views towards the Old City and the historic Montefiore Windmill alongside. It makes for a visit that is as much cultural as it is a tasting, with the family’s feel for both wine and city coming through in the glass.

Information last updated: July 26, 2026. Please confirm hours and details directly with the winery before visiting.
