About Kadita Winery

Kadita Winery is located on the southern slope of Mount Kattar in the Upper Galilee, at an elevation that provides cool temperatures and exceptional growing conditions. The farm and winery were established by a pioneering family who arrived in this remote corner of the Galilee in the early 1980s. They chose this challenging, rocky hillside for its natural beauty and solitude. Furthermore, the decision to create a sustainable, self-sufficient farm on this rugged terrain reflected a deep commitment to living in harmony with the natural world.

Over the years, the family transformed the bare mountain slope into a thriving organic farm. They planted olive trees, grapevines, fig trees, and herb gardens, while also raising goats and chickens on the land. The farm gradually grew into a model of ecological agriculture.
