About Na’aman Winery

Na’aman Winery was established in 2004 by Rami and Bettina Na’aman in the village of Ramot Naftali in the Upper Galilee, after the couple left Ramat HaSharon in 2001 to start a new life on the land. It now makes around 10,000 bottles a year in this picturesque setting. The winery is housed in a striking underground cellar of rough plaster and local Galilee stone, with the feel of an ancient cave, and the compound also holds an art studio run by Bettina, a painter, designer and art teacher, so art and wine share the same space and the same creative spirit.

The Wines

Rami Na’aman brings the same passion he gives to his work as a film director and screenwriter, having trained at Soreq Winery and earned the title of Cellar Master from Tel Hai College, and his eye for storytelling shows in his attention to detail. He is convinced that Bordeaux varieties grown at Ramot Naftali produce wines of exceptional depth, and the altitude, cool nights and clean mountain air let them ripen slowly, so the wines reflect this corner of the Galilee with real clarity.
