Business Description

About Netofa Winery

Netofa Winery was established in 2006 at the foot of Mount Tabor, in the heart of the Lower Galilee, with a clear ambition: elegant, high-quality wines that express this Mediterranean terroir. Two winemakers shape its vision. Pierre Miodobnik brings wide experience from France, Spain and Portugal, giving the winery a broad technical and cultural base, while Yitzchak Tor contributes an intimate knowledge of Israeli viticulture and the local terroir, leading a team united by a shared feel for authentic, expressive wines.

The Wines

Netofa’s vineyards grow a striking diversity of varieties suited to the warm, sun-rich Lower Galilee: Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Tempranillo, Touriga Nacional, Chenin Blanc and Roussanne. That Mediterranean and Iberian range reflects the founders’ conviction that this terroir can make wines of genuine international character. Mount Tabor lends a special microclimate, moderating temperatures and humidity, while the basalt and limestone soils add mineral depth, and careful canopy work and selective picking draw the best from each grape.

Visiting the Winery

Netofa extends a warm, generous welcome, known for a family-like hospitality where guests are treated more like friends than visitors, so a tasting feels as much like a gathering as a formal tour. For anyone curious about the diversity of Israeli wine and the potential of the Lower Galilee, it is an essential and delightful stop.

Information last updated: July 26, 2026. Please confirm hours and details directly with the winery before visiting.
