Business Description

About Ramot Naftaly Winery

Ramot Naftaly Winery lies in Moshav Ramot Naftaly in the Upper Galilee, founded by Yitzhak Cohen, who brings decades of experience in farming and vineyard management. The moshav has a deep tie to wine: for three decades it supplied grapes from the Kedesh Valley to Golan Heights Winery, so the quality of that fruit was well proven long before the winery itself was established. That heritage is the foundation the winery is built on.

The Wines

The Kedesh Valley, set within the Upper Galilee mountains, has its own microclimate and fertile soils that have supported vines for generations. The team works to express that terroir in every bottle, drawing on deep knowledge of local conditions gained over those years of supplying Golan Heights Winery. The result is wine that reflects the cool climate and fertile soils of the valley with real precision, backed by decades of understanding this particular land.

Visiting the Winery

Ramot Naftaly welcomes guests to the Upper Galilee, with a serene mountain-moshav setting for a tasting. Visitors can learn about the long viticultural history of the area and the Kedesh Valley, and the story of Yitzhak Cohen and the community adds a human dimension, wines with genuinely deep local roots in a beautiful corner of the north.

Information last updated: July 26, 2026. Please confirm hours and details directly with the winery before visiting.
