About Simon Winery

Simon Winery is a family boutique winery in Kiryat Tivon, among the forested slopes of the Lower Galilee. It was founded in 2010 by Zeevi Simon, who came to winemaking through a love of red wine and a curiosity about what lies behind each bottle. His path ran through study trips to wineries in France, Italy and Spain, which gave him a broad grounding in European tradition, and on returning to Israel he trained professionally under Nir Shaham at Soreq Winery, so his style pairs European elegance with a real respect for Israeli terroir.

The Wines

Simon draws fruit from select vineyards across several regions, including Amikam, the Golan Heights, Ramot Naftali and Ben Zimra, working with Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carignan and Malbec. The wines are aged twelve months in French oak, which adds structure and depth, and sourcing from different regions lets the team pick the best fruit for each variety, so every bottle reflects both its origin and the care behind it.

Visiting the Winery

Simon welcomes guests for tastings in Kiryat Tivon, where the family atmosphere and Zeevi’s enthusiasm make for a personal visit. Guests can learn about the varied origins of the fruit and the European influences behind the style, a rewarding stop for anyone who values depth, variety and a real story in the glass.

Information last updated: July 26, 2026. Please confirm hours and details directly with the winery before visiting.
