With an unwavering passion for winemaking, Amichai Luria embarked on his journey in 2005 as part of the renowned Shiloh Winery. From the very beginning, he established himself as a beacon of quality and professionalism. Amichai’s remarkable expertise has propelled Shiloh wines to new heights, garnering gold medals and international acclaim at the highest echelons of the industry. His ability to masterfully work with diverse grape varieties and wine styles consistently yields exceptional vintages, offering wine enthusiasts an array of unique blends and extraordinary single varietal wines year after year.

The Vineyard: Where Quality Begins

At the heart of every exceptional wine lies a vineyard blessed with optimal soil and climatic conditions. Thankfully, the Samarian Hills provide a haven for grape cultivation, with cool nights and warm days creating an ideal climate. Nestled at elevations ranging from 650 to 900 meters above sea level, our vineyards are strategically located in areas that have been producing the highest quality wine grapes since ancient times. As we continue to expand our vineyard holdings, we now boast over 75 acres of meticulously cultivated vines, ensuring the finest quality fruit for our wines.

Embracing Kashrut: A Commitment to Tradition

Shiloh Winery takes great pride in adhering to the principles of Kashrut, following the strict guidelines set forth by four esteemed Kashrut agencies: OK-Kosher, Badatz Chatam Sofer Bnei Brak, Rabbanut (Mehadrin) Mateh Binyamin, and Rabbi Yechiel Babad. All Shiloh wines bear the mark of Kosher-Parve certification, ensuring their suitability for consumption during Passover (Mehadrin) and throughout the year. As part of our commitment to biblical traditions, the winery tithes its grapes and donates them to a Levite family. Additionally, during the third and sixth years of the seven-year Shmita cycle, Shiloh Winery sets aside unmarked bottles, fulfilling the mitzva of Tithing for the Poor. These bottles are then distributed to underprivileged families in collaboration with Social Services and trusted charitable organizations.
