About Agur Winery

Agur Winery is a boutique winery in the hills of Judea, overlooking the scenic Elah Valley. It crafts a carefully selected range of wines, each reflecting the terroir of its specific vineyard site, drawing grapes from three distinct locations: Mata, Ein Kerem and Givat Yeshayahu. Each wine therefore expresses a different facet of the Judean Hills landscape, and the concept of place sits at the centre of the winemaking philosophy, guiding every decision from vineyard to bottle.

The Wines

Agur’s three vineyard sites each bring their own character, offering a range of elevations, exposures and soil types that shape the style of every wine. Rather than blending them into a uniform house style, the team works to express these differences in the glass, so the wines stand as individual portraits of their respective plots. The Judean Hills contribute limestone soils, cool elevations and a Mediterranean climate that suit the varieties grown here, giving wines with the freshness and mineral character associated with the region’s finest, each bottling reflecting the identity of its vineyard source with clarity.
