Feldstein Winery is the personal project of Avi Feldstein, one of the most influential figures in modern Israeli wine. Before founding his own winery in 2014 in the Dalton area of the Upper Galilee, Feldstein spent more than three decades in the industry - most notably as the long-time head winemaker at the iconic Segal winery. A poet and philosopher as well as a winemaker, he did everything himself in the early days, releasing 6,000 bottles in his first year.

Feldstein is celebrated for championing grape varieties suited to Israel’s Mediterranean climate, working with Mediterranean and indigenous cultivars such as Carignan, Cinsault, Argaman, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah, alongside the ancient native Dabouki - a grape grown in this land for at least two thousand years - as well as the more familiar classic varieties.

The wines are complex, characterful and age-worthy yet approachable, expressing the Upper Galilee terroir of high elevation, cool nights and varied soils. For current releases and visiting information, contact the winery directly.
