Flam Winery was established in 1998 in the Judean Mountains by Israel Flam, a winemaker with a lifelong passion for the land and the vine. From the outset it committed to wines that express the terroir of the Judean Mountains with elegance and precision, and today it is recognised as one of the leading boutique wineries in Israel, with a consistent track record of quality spanning more than 25 years. The Flam family manages every aspect of the winery hands-on, maintaining the exacting standards that have defined its wines since the first vintage, and its deep familiarity with its vineyards, built over more than two decades, informs every decision from canopy management to final blending.

The Wines

Flam sources grapes from carefully selected vineyards in some of the Judean Mountains’ finest sites, including Ashtaol, Givat Yeshayahu and Ibn Sapir, which share the characteristic qualities of the Judean Hills terroir: limestone soils, significant diurnal temperature variation and excellent sun exposure, so the grapes develop with the natural balance and complexity that define the Flam style. The philosophy centres on fruit expression and elegance, with manual harvesting and meticulous cellar work preserving the character of each variety, and the wines are known for balance and finesse rather than weight, earning consistent recognition at national and international competitions.
