Kadash Barnea Winery was the first family-run boutique winery established in the Ramat HaNegev (Negev Highlands), founded in 2000 by Nira and Alon Zadok, among the first settlers of Moshav Kadesh Barnea in the Nitzanei Sinai area near the Egyptian border.

The Negev Highlands have proven to be a surprising and exciting wine-growing environment. The combination of loess soils, intense sunlight, very low rainfall requiring careful irrigation, and dramatic day-to-night temperature swings produces wines of notable concentration and character — reviving a winemaking tradition that flourished here in Nabataean and Byzantine times.

The winery produces kosher wines and welcomes visitors by appointment for tastings, including larger group visits. For bookings and wine availability, contact the winery directly.
