About Kishor Winery

Kishor is a distinctive boutique winery in Kfar Kishorit, a community in the Western Galilee. Founded in 2010, it operates as an inclusive enterprise where around 175 residents with special needs take an active part in every aspect of vineyard and winery work. The vines were first planted in 2007, giving the winery a firm foundation in the land, so Kishor represents both a commitment to quality winemaking and a broader social mission that sets it apart from other Israeli producers.

The Wines

Kishor’s vineyards look out over the Mediterranean, reflecting the coastal character of the Western Galilee, and sit along what was an ancient wine road used by traders and travellers some 2,000 to 3,000 years ago, a heritage that inspires the team. The Mediterranean climate gives grapes with vibrant fruit and natural balance, and the inclusive model means the whole community shares in the success of each vintage, so every bottle carries a story that reaches well beyond the wine itself.
