About Mettler Winery

Mettler Winery is a charming family-owned boutique winery in Moshav Agur in the Ella Valley, founded by Heinz and Leah Mettler, who moved to the moshav with a dream of producing their own wine. What began as a personal project quickly grew into a genuine winemaking enterprise, and today the family continues to craft small-batch wines from their vineyard-surrounded home. The winery sits in a serene pastoral setting with vineyards and rolling hills on all sides, and that close relationship between the family and their land shows in every bottle, with Heinz and Leah personally involved at every stage from vine to cellar.

The Wines

Mettler produces a small but diverse range, including red wine, rose and blanc de noir, along with other seasonal offerings that reflect what the vineyard delivers in a given year, all made in strictly limited quantities that add to their personal character. Beyond wine, the Mettler farm also produces homemade jams and other artisanal products from the property, so a visit becomes a full sensory experience and draws visitors looking for an authentic farm-to-glass encounter in a genuinely beautiful setting.
