About Nevo Winery

Nevo Winery is a kosher boutique winery in Moshav Mata, in the heart of the Jerusalem Mountains. Founded in 2002, it is a family-run estate focused on quality, growing its grapes in the Nevo estate vineyard, where limestone soils and mountain altitude make for ideal conditions. The wines reflect the distinctive terroir of the Jerusalem Hills, and the family approach means every bottle gets personal attention from vineyard to cellar.

The Wines

The estate vineyard grows classic varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot; the Merlot, planted in 2010, has gone on to make wines of notable depth. The winery added Chardonnay in 2020 for a refined white, and introduced a rose in 2013 that has become a popular lighter style. Selected wines are aged in French oak in limited series, gaining complexity and elegance, so each vintage reflects careful work in both vineyard and cellar, expressing the Jerusalem Mountains with clarity.
