Business Description

About Tzuba Winery

Tzuba is an estate winery at Kibbutz Tzuba in the Judean Hills, working only with grapes from its own surrounding vineyards, which gives the team full control from planting through to bottling. The estate covers roughly 450 dunams of Terra Rossa, a clay-limestone terrain well suited to wines with freshness and structure. The first vines went in during 1996, about 100 dunams across the hillside slopes and ancient terraces around the kibbutz, land that carries a long history of viticulture written into its centuries-old terracing.

The Wines

Winemaker Paul Dove has been closely involved with the estate since its early years and knows each vine and its position on the hillside, so the wines reflect this particular stretch of Judean Hills terroir. The approach rests on close monitoring of ripening and careful planning of each vintage. Tzuba makes a range of reds and whites that carry the cool, elevated character of the hills, and because it is a true estate, every wine is shaped by the same land and the same hands season after season, a consistency that is among the winery’s most valued qualities.

Visiting the Winery

Tzuba sits at Kibbutz Tzuba, a short drive from Jerusalem in the heart of the Judean Hills, and offers tastings and tours by appointment. Visitors who value estate wines with a strong sense of place will find it a rewarding destination in one of Israel’s most exciting wine regions.
