About Tzuba Winery

Tzuba Winery is an estate winery at Kibbutz Tzuba in the Judean Hills. The winery exclusively uses grapes from its own surrounding vineyards. This gives the winemaking team full control, from planting through to bottling. The estate covers approximately 450 dunams of Terra Rossa soil — a clay-limestone terrain well suited to producing wines with freshness and structure.

The first vines at Tzuba Winery were planted in 1996. The initial planting covered around 100 dunams on the hillside slopes and ancient terraces surrounding Kibbutz Tzuba. Furthermore, the land carries a deep history of viticulture, and the terracing of the hillsides reflects centuries of winemaking in this part of the Judean Hills.

Wines and Vineyards

Winemaker Paul Dove has been closely involved with the Tzuba estate since its early years. He brings a thorough understanding of each vine and its position on the hillside. As a result, the wines reflect the specific character of this stretch of Judean Hills terroir. The approach emphasises careful monitoring of ripening and meticulous planning of each vintage.

Tzuba Winery produces a range of red and white wines that reflect the cool, elevated character of the Judean Hills.
