Carmel Bat Shlomo Winery (Bat Shlomo Vineyards) is set in the historic moshava of Bat Shlomo, on the southern slopes of Mount Carmel — one of the original farming villages established under the patronage of Baron Edmond de Rothschild in the 1880s. The estate describes itself as ‘a house that still breathes the memory of those who first planted the seeds and cultivated this country.’

The winery produces wines including a Sauvignon Blanc, set amid the calcareous soils and Mediterranean-maritime climate of the Carmel foothills, a region with one of Israel’s longest continuous winemaking traditions.
