Chillag Winery was established in 1998 by Orna Chillag, a pioneering figure in Israeli wine as one of the country’s few female winemakers and, for many years, the only female winery owner in Israel. The winery is based in Yehud, in central Israel, and crafts its wines from grapes grown in the Upper Galilee.

Producing around 20,000 bottles a year, Chillag built a reputation for elegant, well-structured wines made with meticulous attention to detail. The winery’s grapes travel from the cool, high-elevation vineyards of the Upper Galilee to the production facility in the centre of the country.
