Michmoret Winery is a boutique winery founded in 2012 by Daniel Payne in the coastal village of Michmoret. The winery’s story begins not in Israel but in the steep vineyards of Switzerland, where Daniel’s grandfather cultivated vines and produced highly regarded wines. That family heritage of winemaking sparked Daniel’s own passion for the craft, which he eventually brought to Israel’s Mediterranean coast.

Michmoret Winery brings together two distinct wine cultures. The precision and tradition of Swiss winemaking meet the warmth, sunshine, and terroir of the Israeli coastal plain.
