About Salomon Winery

Salomon Winery is a family boutique producer in Moshav Amikam in central Israel, near the Alexander River. It was founded in 1997 by Itamar Salomon, a farmer with long experience in the region’s vineyards. What started as a basement experiment grew quickly: by 2000 the home operation was already making more than 1,000 bottles a year, and Itamar replaced the cellar with a proper winery built in the courtyard of his Amikam home, keeping the wine rooted in the family house even as it turned professional.

The Wines

Itamar’s sons are involved at every stage, from harvest through bottling, so each wine carries the family’s collective work. The nearby Alexander River moderates local temperatures, and the fruit reflects the Carmel foothills and the fertile soils of central Israel, giving the range a genuine sense of its agricultural place.
